Current project news, appearances, and occasional random musings.
Wow! What a great weekend filming THE PLATINUM PEACEMAKER! Sure, it was busy. Sure, we still have another day of pickups. Sure, I fell down the stairs in the hotel. But, this weekend was the most fun I have had on a shoot in a long time. Let's see... Where to begin? I spent the weekend in Nemo, TX, shooting at Doug Prine's old west town. I was covered in molasses, I beat up some cowboys, I shot a man or two, and I blew someone up with a stick of dynamite. He he. You'll just have to see the movie. The cast and crew were wonderful to work with, and I'm still amazed we got as much done as we were able, in such a short time. It's refreshing to work with people who take their jobs seriously. And, despite the issues that inevitably arise in this business, the planning and preparation was certainly evident. Thanks to everyone for doing what you do! And thank you, Clyde, for keeping our bellies full! You're the real deal! I want to also thank Doug and Toni Prine for allowing us to eat, sleep, and shoot on their property. The town looks great, you guys were awesome, and the hotel on set has the best (and only) room in town! And special thanks to Toni for helping keep my wardrobe in tip top shape. You are very much appreciated!
