I just got back from a 10 day trip to Creede, Colorado, where I filmed my scenes for Disney's THE LONE RANGER, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer and directed by Gore Verbinski. I can't say anything more about the film, itself, but what an amazing experience! The cast and crew were so nice, dedicated, and talented. I met some great people and made some new friends. The film is going to be so freaking cool! You won't want to miss this one! The film is currently scheduled for release during the 4th of July weekend, 2013.

I had the great pleasure to participate in an A-Z Filmmaking workshop at the Greenhill School in Addison, TX, yesterday, as part of the ISAS Fine Arts Festival with actress Cassie Shea Watson and producer Frankey Dey of Lascaux Films. I wrote a short script, Cassie and I performed it, and Frankey instructed students through the entire filmmaking process at an accelerated pace, sharing tons of information about the business side of filmmaking, as well as tips and tricks for use on the production side. It was very hands on, and I think we enjoyed it just as much as the students. Thank you, Greenhill School, for having us!

Okay, I have been sitting on this information for some time, now, but I guess I'll go ahead and let the cat out of the bag. I have been cast in a nice little role in the upcoming Disney film THE LONE RANGER directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Johnny Depp as Tonto. I can't say anything more, but I will be heading to Colorado in the middle of June to shoot my scenes. So stoked!

I have been cast in the upcoming short film RED COURAGE, based on the true story of Henry Eugene "Red" Erwin, which takes place during a bombing mission over Japan in World War II. I will be playing the role of airman Pershing Youngkin, the crew's navigator and Red's best friend. This promises to be a really great film with a great message, and I'm very excited to be part of it.

Just completed the script for the short film HOOKED, which clocks in at a nice festival-friendly length of 13 pages. Here is the logline: "A routine job by good Samaritan Alison Jones turns into a meeting with a handsome stranger that will change her life forever." We're planning to shoot in the fall, after the weather cools down a bit, and will probably announce a call for cast and crew this summer. Stay tuned for more information.
