Current project news, appearances, and occasional random musings.
Our film GHOST NOTE has been selected as an Official Selection at the Bare Bones Film Festival and is nominated for Best Picture. The film will screen at 8:30 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017. Come see the film if you're at the festival! Here's a still from the film of me as Johnny.
Just worked on a corporate video for La Quinta Inns. I played Michael Taylor, a business traveller who is staying at La Quinta for the first time and is quite, ahem, needy. He he. Michael has a million questions and seems to be quite high maintenace, but the La Quinta hotel team takes very good care of him. I will be making an appearance at La Quinta's upcoming annual conference, as well.
Our film THE LAST POSSESSION screened tonight at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas to a really great crowd. It was great to see so many of the cast and crew in attendance, and the film was very well received. Thank you to Frankey Dey for all the hard work organizing the event. Here is a photo with Michael A. Gibson, Jr. and Cassie Shea Watson after the screening.
Check out the short holiday film that I made with Cassie Shea Watson. We shot and edited this over the course of three days, and it was so much fun! Please, do NOT watch this video if you don't have a sense of humor, are scared by or offended by dead things, or if you don't like reptiles. But if you're game, give it a watch to see what Cassie's cooking up!
I just finished working a live event playing a schizophrenia patient during interviews at a convention for a pharmaceutical company. This is not the type of thing I normally do, and honestly it was a bit out of my comfort zone. But that seemed like the perfect reason to go for it. Well, that and four days in San Antonio and a nice little paycheck sealed the deal. I did feel a wee bit guilty when attendees would come up after the interview and thank me for sharing my story or tell me they hoped I would be able to get the help I needed. But it was fun to stay in character the entire time I was in the building, even between interviews.
