Check out the short holiday film that I made with Cassie Shea Watson. We shot and edited this over the course of three days, and it was so much fun! Please, do NOT watch this video if you don't have a sense of humor, are scared by or offended by dead things, or if you don't like reptiles. But if you're game, give it a watch to see what Cassie's cooking up!
I just finished working a live event playing a schizophrenia patient during interviews at a convention for a pharmaceutical company. This is not the type of thing I normally do, and honestly it was a bit out of my comfort zone. But that seemed like the perfect reason to go for it. Well, that and four days in San Antonio and a nice little paycheck sealed the deal. I did feel a wee bit guilty when attendees would come up after the interview and thank me for sharing my story or tell me they hoped I would be able to get the help I needed. But it was fun to stay in character the entire time I was in the building, even between interviews.
At 10:00pm yesterday, we began shooting a feature film. We wrapped on that film at 10:00am this morning. Yes, you heard that right. We shot an entire feature film involving 2 cameras, 12 actors, 18 locations, and 467 miles traveled, all in one 12 hour period. The film stars Shannon Lucio, Cassie Shea Watson, yours truly, Joe Nemmers, and Eric Hanson, and it was produced and directed by Bobby Paschall. As if that wasn't crazy enough, we did all of this without Shannon ever seeing a script, outline, or anything else regarding the film, story, or even her character. Every piece of information she received was given to her from the rest of the cast on the fly as they helped her move toward her ultimate goal. What a trip this was, and I had a wonderful time working with the rest of the cast and crew on this most unique of experiences.
