Current project news, appearances, and occasional random musings.
Wow! What a great weekend filming THE PLATINUM PEACEMAKER! Sure, it was busy. Sure, we still have another day of pickups. Sure, I fell down the stairs in the hotel. But, this weekend was the most fun I have had on a shoot in a long time. Let's see... Where to begin? I spent the weekend in Nemo, TX, shooting at Doug Prine's old west town. I was covered in molasses, I beat up some cowboys, I shot a man or two, and I blew someone up with a stick of dynamite. He he. You'll just have to see the movie. The cast and crew were wonderful to work with, and I'm still amazed we got as much done as we were able, in such a short time. It's refreshing to work with people who take their jobs seriously. And, despite the issues that inevitably arise in this business, the planning and preparation was certainly evident. Thanks to everyone for doing what you do! And thank you, Clyde, for keeping our bellies full! You're the real deal! I want to also thank Doug and Toni Prine for allowing us to eat, sleep, and shoot on their property. The town looks great, you guys were awesome, and the hotel on set has the best (and only) room in town! And special thanks to Toni for helping keep my wardrobe in tip top shape. You are very much appreciated!
Okay, I finally have some new headshots making the rounds. They are posted here, now, and will appear on all the agency web sites very soon. See these and more in the photo gallery. That is all.
We shot the music video for THE BULLFIGHTER RETURNS by Phil Pritchet and The Full Band last night, and the song is still stuck in my head. I had a lot of fun, hung out with a lot of really nice people, drank some good beer, and listened to some great music. It was almost like a Friday night out! I just finished filming the short film GOD GOLD & GUNS. The shoot went quickly and smoothly, and I met many great and talented people. Thanks to everyone who made working on this project such a pleasure!
I have been cast in the comedy/western short film THE PLATINUM PEACEMAKER from Fade In: Productions and Bryant Entertainment. I will be playing the lead role of Hart Simpson, a freelance gun-for-hire with a penchant for petty theft. He must recover The Platinum Peacemaker and stop the planned assassination of the Texas Governor. I'm really looking forward to this one. It's a really funny script, and it should be a whole lot of fun! Plus, I get to work opposite the amazing Cassie Shea Watson!
I have been cast in a music video for THE BULLFIGHTER RETURNS by Phil Pritchet, working with John Reynolds and Middlin' Creative. For more information, please visit the Middlin' Creative Official Web Site or the Phil Pritchett Official Web Site.
